Department of Computer Engineering organized its third Welcome Cricket Tournament for Computer Engineering and Software Engineering students on Friday October 25, 2019.

The tournament started at around 2:00. Four teams were made CPE1 Wallabies under the captaincy of Engr. Ahmed Sohaib (HoD), SWEN1B Eagles under the captaincy of Engr. Hammad Shahab, Swen1A Wolfs under the captaincy of DR. Muhammad Ahmad and Seniors Eleven under captaincy of Engr. Dr. Naveed Yasir. Seniors Eleven won the toss and they decided to bat first and gave a tough time to SWEN1A Wolfs. The match was of six overs and SWEN1A Wolfs played very well but Seniors Eleven won this match.

After that the match started between CPE1 Wallabies and SWEN1B Eagles. CPE1 Wallabies won the toss and decided to bat first and they gave the SWEN1B Eagles a really tough time by giving such a high target to achieve. SWEN1B Eagles fought very well in their turn but end up in losing the match. Meanwhile, the audience enjoyed the commentary of Engr. Abdul Basit. The final match carried out between the winning teams CPE1 Eagles and Seniors Eleven.

Both teams gave their outstanding performance and Seniors Eleven end up in winning the final match and earned the title of CPE Tournament Champions. It was a great experience of building healthy student teacher relation and we look forward to have such kind of activities in near future as well.
